Easy DIY Ranger Bands
“Ranger Bands” are named after the Army Rangers who would use bicycle inner tube bands to hold gear in place to prevent noise during operations.. The material that makes up the inner tube will last significantly longer then the traditional rubber bands. In today’s world, the “ranger band’ is favored by outdoorsmen and survivalists for holding various gear and cordage in place. Making your own “ranger bands” couldn’t be easier. Bicycle inner tube cut to size. That’s it. If you discover a powder residue inside your strips, simply rinse and dry. I’ve seen a few online stores that actually sell them and quite frankly, I don’t understand why anyone would ever pay for them.
